Company Profile   Trenergy Inc.

Trenergy Inc. was established in 1997 in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. Prior to that, the plant was owned and operated by a major boiler manufacturer for 77 years. At its peak, the plant employed 600 people. Trenergy was established with the unique advantage of having existing experienced personnel. On day one, Trenergy began with virtually hundreds of years of combined manufacturing experience.

Trenergy was founded by Ron Grundy, Ken McCarty and Tony Golian. Ron brought to the partnership 23 years experience in Plant Management, Project Management, Strategic Planning, Business Development and Global Procurement. Ken brought 19 years of Boiler, Burner, Controls Engineering and Sales experience. Tony had 21 years experience in all aspects of plant operations and management.

Sadly, we lost Tony to cancer in July of 2003. The Director of Manufacturing duties have since been turned over to the capable hands of Ken Payette. Ken comes to us with over 20 years experience in Boiler Construction and Project Execution.

Since 1997, many improvements have been made including modernizing the office building, establishing a fully capable Project Team, adding Product Detailing Capabilities and increasing plant equipment to include Panelizing and ENC Drum Drilling Capabilities. In 7 years, our workforce has grown from 44 to 130.

We are 100% Management Owned.
